This
chapter covers the Bill Of Materials.
I think many people forget about the helpful material layout
sheets at the end of the chapter. These guides will help you
get the most parts out of a sheet of foam.
There is some confusion between the bill of materials, what you
order from Wicks and what you order from Brock's. This is mostly
with regard to some of the metal parts like the elevator torque
tubes, if you are not paying attention you will have some tubing
from Wicks you do not need. It's a good idea to understand the
plans to the point you know what you are ordering and where it
will go, then label it when you receive it so you know that it
is reserved for a specific part. Several times I cut up the
wrong piece of raw material.
